Pre-Podcasting

-What do you know about pod casting?
-What do you think/want to learn about pod casting?
-What do you see as the advantages to pod casting?
-What do you see as the drawbacks to pod casting?

Answers:
Pod casting is something that is very unfamiliar to me. I really don't know anything other than what Dr. Luongo has told us about it. I know that we will all be learning how to use the whole idea of pod casting together. I think that pod casting is a great way of communication between a teacher and his/her class. I want to learn how to use a pod casting system so that I might be able to incorporate it into my classroom one day.

Some of the advantages that I see to pod casting is to have a better way to communicate with students, co-workers, employers, etc. I think that by having the ability to utilize pod casting in the right way could really help a person (teachers) to benefit not only themselves, but also students, parents, and faculty. Some of the drawbacks that I see to pod casting is that if there is something that you particularly want a group to or not to see and you have followers that may or may not be in the group then you could run across a problem. If you feel that what you might say could offend one or some of your followers, how would you be able to not have that person see what you have written. There could be negative feedback that could be used against you later because you might have been simply voicing your own opinion. But that is just what I think.
